Professional Development Courses

The Advertising and Communication Industry is growing at a fast pace in tandem with Malaysia's strong GDP growth. Advancement in the industry requires employees to be re-trained or re-skilled; traditional advertising and communication areas now require injection of ICT knowledge and industry relevant courses to keep up with the times.

IACT College is a Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Bhd (PSMB) Class A accredited training centre and as such, companies sponsoring participants for training can claim training grants under SBL schemes.

Professional Development Courses offered by IACT College are conducted on part time basis. Classes will be conducted in the evenings.

Passes in courses 1 to 13 will enable participants to obtain the Diploma in Marketing Communications from International Advertising Association, New York.

This course introduces participants to the basics of consumer behaviour, which is seen as a vital component in advertising and marketing. It is based on the premise that it is the free choice of the consumer that ultimately determines what shall be produced and marketed. This course will examine the internal and external factors that influence the behaviours of consumer. Influences such as perception, learning, personality, lifestyle, family and social class are examined, with a view to sensitise students to the interplay of psychological forces.
