Responsibilities:

• Handle full sets of accounts and prepare monthly financial reports under guidance of Accountant.
• Maintain proper accounting records and files i.e. tax, audit, management reports, according to standard procedures and in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Generate daily accounting documentation i.e. cheque payments, receipts, expense claims, etc.
• Implement an effective, accurate and efficient internal control system on daily financial transactions.
• Update daily accounting transactions into accounting system (MYOB) and Campus Management System (CMS).
• Assist in daily office and finance administration matters.
• Perform any other related duties or ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements:

• A recognised Diploma in Accounting/ Finance or LCCI Intermediate/ Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA) or Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accounting.
• Preferably with at least 2 – 3 years of related working experience in the education sector.
• A keen eye for details self-motivated with strong analytical skills and committed to meet deadlines.
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge in accounting software (MYOB) and education database system will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates / Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
