"JOM BREAKFAST"

”JOM BREAKFAST’, an event organized by IACT College in collaboration with Institution Onn Jaafar (IOJ). The purpose of this event is to provide a temporary relief to the underprivileged, especially children/students in this case, living with disabilities and gain a better understanding of some of the struggles they face.¬†

The showcase consists of diverse activities featuring games, storytelling and other forms of educational interactions.¬† All were welcomed to experience learning about cultures and the importance of diversity in a fun, new way

Hooray to IACT students as they successfully held another Film Festival! This year, they decided on the theme MENTAL-ity which aim to challenge mindsets by talking about the hard things! After 2.5 years, our final year Diploma in Broadcasting & Film students was able to hold a movie screening premiering 3 short films. Many family members and general public came to support their work. Not only did they showcase their work, they donated a total of  RM1, 000 to the Free Tree Society as a collaboration.

"Atria Jingle Boogie 2019"

Atria Jingle Boogie 2019, a groovy Christmas event organised by IACT Students and officiated by YB Jamaliah Jamaluddin. The purpose of this event is to fund raise for the Shelter Home for Children which the students successfully did as they raised RM3295.55! Not only were there costume competition and live band performances, adults were also invited to participate in the line dancing. What a fun event for both children and adults.

It is time for our final year students from¬†Diploma in Broadcasting and Film & Diploma in Mass communication to showcase what they’ve learnt after 2.5 years. 7 short films were featured and within 3 hours, their tickets sold off and many came to support the short film screening.¬† Family, friends, casts and the general public were all invited. There were Q&A session whereby the audiences were allowed to ask questions or give their¬† feedback which¬†encourages the students to learn and strive for the best in the future. Besides that, all of their proceeds goes to Agathians Shelter. Not only were they able to showcase their work but also help the ones in need.¬†

"The LifeWire"

“The LifeWire” is a 4-day conceptual event by Pop Up, Link Up featuring KL’s most underrated gems and
urban art culture.  Pop Up, Link Up is an initiative by IACT Students and they aim to provide a creative platform for local entrepreneurs to engage with urban shoppers, while advocating for an appreciation towards art and culture through
workshops, visual activations, and more.

"The LifeWire"

“The LifeWire” is a 4-day conceptual event by Pop Up, Link Up featuring KL’s most underrated gems and

"More than thirty (>30) Exhibition"

More than thirty (>30) is an interactive exhibition that was organized by IKIGAI, a movement pioneered by IACT students to create awareness about pollution endangering the marine life. Instead of   implementing plastic free lifestyle, they aim to reduce the amount of plastics and trash thrown into the ocean. During the exhibition, marine life sculptures made out of plastic and waste were exhibited to show the audience how much waste is being thrown and how are they endangering the marine life.

The objective of this event was to raise awareness of pollution. The total funds they raised was RM4,445 which will be donated to their beneficiary, Lang Tengah Turtle Watch

"Theater of the Oppressed"

“Theater¬†of the Oppressed” is a classroom project aimed to engage the audience on possible mental issues happened within the four walls of a family unit. Performers (IACT College students) received theatrical training and organized the show in a semester’s time.
