KUALA LUMPUR — Presenting itself as a platform for up-and-coming artists of variation, The LifeWire provided an array of activities and vendors at The LINC that was held last weekend.
The event took place right under the beautiful multi-coloured origami structure. The LifeWire brought a casual urban shopping experience to all shoppers and a platform for local artisan vendors. Not only that, there were multiple exciting activation held in conjunction with the bazaar – an open mic stage, creative workshops and an exotic car meet that catered to the hearts of the fast and fancy.

The exquisite car meet was held on the evening of 25th July, featuring two of Malaysia’s beloved car groups, VWOCM (Volkswagen Owners Club Malaysia) and The Breakfast Club. All Volkswagen owners came together to show off their vibrant colours, brute power, and tightest fitment possible.
A number of brands like Foodpanda, Domino’s, Natta Cosme, The Two Pineapples and Cesaendre.co came forward to sponsor over RM30,000 worth towards this student-led event.

Public were invited to join the creative workshop
The public stood a chance to participate in a decopatch workshop presented by Cziplee and Naturally Handmade’s bath bombs workshop. Well-regarded local artists who have performed during the event include Amrita Soon, Juan Johan and many more aspiring talents.
“Throughout all 4 days, we managed to attract around 2,000 people to join our event. I truly am proud to say that The LifeWire was organized by our final-year mass communications students from IACT College. Many of them were able to get the industry exposure needed prior to graduating as we incorporate project-based learning within our syllabus,” said Jonathan Yip, PR lecturer and Managing Director of Pop Up, Link Up.
