Overview

The programme is intended for those seeking a career in the mass communication industry and aims to develop their skills in dealing with existing mass media and with the challenges in communications technology. It is a 2-year programme where this programme allows students to go into UK Universities to complete their final year. This programme is also to guide and prepare them for their final year.

 

Students will inculcate the fundamentals of using the tools of general media studies, public relations, broadcasting, journalism, marketing and advertising in particular, as the key industries of the field, to disseminate information to various publics.

Requirements

Entry Requirements

  • STPM – minimum of grade C in 2 subjects and an average CGPA of 2.0
  • A-Level –minimum of grade D in 2 subjects
  • UEC – minimum of grade B in 5 subjects
  • Matriculation or Foundation – minimum CGPA of 2.0
  • SAM or CPU – 5 subjects with a minimum score of 50%
  • Canadian Pre-University Program (CPU) – 5 subjects with a minimum score of 50%
  • Other qualifications recognised by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia and considered on a case-by-case basis
